Dorrie Joan Davies married Alan Bostock Chrimes, this is our Mother & Father. There are some pictures below which need names putting to places!

It would be nice to identify the places that these photographs were taken. They were originally named but the names became detached in the album. Some of the notes on the back of the pictures are written below.

Southport School 1936, Castle Ruin, Queensferry Garden at home in Davenham Mary at Phyllis’s wedding At Vale Royal, Phyllis at Stanley Park, At Phyllis’s Wedding, At Davenham, Harold 1936, Faraday Road aged 13, Rhyl 1939, Ken and Maud, “Sunny”, Marbury April 1938, Vale Royal June 1938′

On the back of photo M11, Dorrie has written in pencil: ‘Harry Sunderland, Self, Joyce Rathbone, Thomas François Albert Xavier De-Chasse, Hilda Wilding, Brian Rowe’.

Now if ever there was a name to research, what better than; François Albert’s! A quick look brings up some results on Ancestry . This fellow is surely the same one. As for the other people mentioned in the photo I have found;

A marriage of an ‘Edward Wilding’ to a ‘Lucienne M.A. De Chasse’ in Northwich during Q3 of 1939, could this be Hilda Wilding’s brother?

A ‘Hilda Wilding’ married a man called ‘Brian Rowe’ during Q4 1939 in Northwich.

A ‘Joyce Rathbone’ married a ‘Leonard S. Deakin’ during Q2 of 1947, again in Northwich.

Thomas Albert Xavier De-Chasse was probably born in the U.S.A. in 1921, and if the above statements are correct then the photo was taken before 1939.

The unknown lady in photo No: M5 appears in another photo with Laura (Maddock) Davies. This is covered in Laura’s post.
